Another great part about Essential Anatomy is the ability to stack organ systems on top of each other. You can swipe your away around the body, and look at it from different angles. The graphics are extremely crisp and really stand out on a black background. I would highly recommend this app to any doctors, nurses, medical students, etc. It really seems like a great tool for doctors because this app can convey what you’re saying much better than you could through speech. I showed this app to a few other people, and they were amazed. With only a few taps, you can zoom into the area and show them. One practical application is if you want to show a patient what is wrong with them. It also highlights what you tap, so if you’re a doctor or nurse, the app has a lot of practical applications.
Personally, I really like how you can tap on any part of the skeleton, and it will show you the latin name, sound it out for you, etc. These features make the app even more stunning. The app also contains over 2,500 anatomic structures, audio pronunciation, latin nomenclature, quiz function, search features, and social media tools. For one, the app is based on new 3D technology by an impressive graphics engine. The features of Essential Anatomy are really ingenious. If you’re into medical apps, this one might just be the best for you. It also provides a lot of opportunities to help teach others about human anatomy. The best part is that you can see it with a variety of organ systems too! The app is really intuitive and is a blast on the iPad. The app let’s you look at a skeleton and musculature in 3D.
